Kleggs are a species of large meat hungry aliens of the feudal Klegg Empire that enjoy nothing more than some good food and slaughter. They are notable and feared in Mega-City One for having acted as Chief Judge Cal's main militia during his hundred day reign over the city, causing lasting fear of aliens amongst citizens to this day.
History[]
The Kleggs first appeared to the eyes of humanity when the then Chief Judge Cal hired a small army of Klegg mercenaries to serve as extra man power. Wanting only to be paid in fresh meat, Cal took a liking to the creatures and even instated their leader Grampus as his Deputy. During Cal's reign the Klegg's did unspeakable things to the people of Mega-City One, and after Cal's demise the remaining Kleggs were hunted down like dogs and executed, though a small number managed to escape with a spaceship.

- Kleggs were focus of a comedic article during the 2010 British General Electoral Campaign in the Guardian comparing them to the fearsome Nick Clegg.
