Sister Despair was a female Dark Judge from Deadworld who went rogue shortly after humanity had been wiped out.
Personality[]
Despair apparently had some sway over men, and gained the attraction of both Judge Fire and Judge Reaper, the latter of which being happy to die for her. In return however she seemed not to care about them at all and was very self sufficient, even choosing to kill herself rather than execution.
History[]
Before her transformation, Sister Despair was a Judge with a twisted personality who had caught the attention of the then Judge Fuego. After Fuego is turned into Judge Fire, he petitioned for Sister Despair to also become a Dark Judge. After her transformation she assists in the extermination of the living, wiping them out by the masses. Atone stage however, she decided to betray her cause and fled with Judge Reaper (who, like Fire, had fallen in love with her) to a base at the bottom of the ocean, allowing her to operate on her genetic experiments.
Having been responsible for putting her forward, as well as feeling a deep sense of betrayal, Judge Fire plunged into the ocean depths to find her, eventually coming to her base. He broke inside only to come into confrontation with Despair's genetic experiments. After fighting off the experiments and executing Judge Reaper, Fire confronts Despair, only to have her mock him and as a final way to mess with him, she blows herself to pieces before he had a chance to slay her. Afterwards, Fire retains a deep mournful passion for her, burning deep within his heart.
Trivia[]
- While Judge Reaper was the first Dark Judge to be completely killed, Sister Despair shows that the Dark Judges can also be killed if they choose to self destruct.
- Despair's attire and genetic experimentation suggest she may have been a Med-Judge before her transformation.
