Hairy was the ironically named bald member of the Harlem Heroes.
Personality[]
Hairy admired his team leader Giant and was as strong as an ox, making him a very competant Aeroball player.
History[]
Hairy was a long time member of the American Aeroball team, the Harlem Heroes helping win games against teams like the Apache Demons. Shortly after a game against the Greek City Giants however, Hairy and the rest of the Heroes were involved in a car crash when their liner had its breaks cut. Hairy was amongst the only survivors, the others being the captain John "Giant" Clay, Slim and Louis Mayer (The last of which was so badly wounded his brain was amputated and put in a jar).
He, Slim and Giant refused to stay down however and decided to reform the Heroes to fight again in the upcoming championships. They hired ex-sporting hero Conrad King, young rebel Zack Harper and their former player Chico Travis to join the team and play their first match against the Baltimore Bulls.
Hairy and his brute strength proved essential many times during the championships, helping beat teams such as the Montezuma Mashers, the Flying Scotsmen and the Bushido Blades. During the final match against the Teutonic Titans however, Hairy was murdered by the Heroes team manager Ulysses Cord who had put bombs in the Heroes jetpacks (and had also cut the breaks on their liner previously). Hairy was avenged however when Giant forced Cord to confess on live television and then lead the Heroes to victory against the Titans, winning the championship.
